Genevieve keeps the neck high and lets the sleeves do the opening: short flutter sleeves leave the shoulders soft rather than covered. Structured seaming shapes the bodice through the waist before releasing into a full flared skirt that finishes above the knee, and the fabric is smooth enough to hold that shape without going stiff.
